A NEW BREED OF EVANGELICAL: Conversations in the Community (part 5)

I think they divert too much from God to humanly things, when God will provide the answers if they would just stick with Him. It wonderful to be a Good Samaritan. God wants us to love our neighbors and to help assist those in need, but not at the expense of neglecting God.
I'm not sure though, how helping others is neglecting God. You'd think that if God is love, loving others is worshipping God...
[this is good]
Good point. I think we have sepearted our love for God from loving people so much so that Christians do not see them even being associated anymore. I can now love God and offer preferencial, indifferent, passive behavior to people and I remain spiritual. This is not healthy. It is so vital that we prove our love for people and demonstrate it openly for the world to see it. This amy change our image...?
